Description
The PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Cutter) itself is made from a thin layer of polycrystalline diamond cemented to tungsten carbide blank by a high temperature/ high pressure process. Manufacturing a PDC core bit, the tungsten carbide blanks of PDC cutters are brazed into a steel or tungsten carbide matrix bit crown.
To drill soft to hard formation, PDC core bits have long bit life, fast penetration and good core sample recovery.
PDC core bits with flat or domed PDC cutters are available in Forsun.
